We collect information you provide directly when you create an account (name, email, password), use the Service (stock analysis queries, comparison preferences), contact us (name, email, message content), and make payments (processed by Verifone or PayPal — we do not store payment card details). We also automatically collect device information (IP address, browser type, device fingerprint) to enforce our 3-device limit and for security purposes.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data to: provide and improve the Service, authenticate your identity and manage sessions, enforce device limits, process subscription payments, send transactional emails (verification, password reset, trial reminders), respond to support requests, and analyze usage patterns to improve platform performance. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

3. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your session (authentication) and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you use Google Analytics (if enabled), it may set analytics cookies to help us understand platform usage patterns. You may opt out of analytics cookies through your browser settings.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party processors: (a) Neon Technologies — database hosting; (b) Vercel — frontend hosting; (c) cloud infrastructure — gateway and analysis microservices; (d) SendGrid (Twilio) — transactional email delivery; (e) Verifone — payment processing; (f) PayPal — payment processing; (g) Google Analytics — optional usage analytics. Each processor handles data in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records). Contact message data is retained for up to 2 years for customer service purposes.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, restrict or object to processing, and receive your data in a portable format. 7. Data Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, session token security, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
